It was borderline rain yesterday at times, and definitely a wet kind of snow that was falling. Not the best day of the season... and so soon after that deep snow as well! Doh!
Anyway, that's behind us now and it is snowing proper snow this morning. Madarao Kogen is reporting 10-15cm of snow on the slopes and I can confirm 5-10cm or so on the ground under foot in base areas. Colder as well this morning which is welcome and it's about -6 degrees now. Snow continues to fall and generally visibility not so good out there.
Forecast is looking good. Consistent snowfall over the next 6 days through into the weekend, possibly heavy at times. If the forecast comes true, it should be a fine weekend that's for sure. Let's snowing!
