Madarao Kogen open today for the 13/14 season - well for the weekend anyway with the main full opening planned for next week.
Snow is still thin on the ground but there's the Number 1 lift moving for those looking for an early slide with cheap lift passes on offer.
Cloudy at the moment but snow is forecast for today and tomorrow before easing off early in the week.
I'll keep you up to date with the weather a few times before opening next week.
