The season starts proper tomorrow! After last weekend we have seen more snow early on in the week and finer conditions in the last few - the sun has been out today - but from tomorrow Madarao Kogen opens for the season.
And here's the plans. Conditions may dictate change but the plan is for the Number 1 lift and the Number 2 Quad lift to be operating tomorrow with 6 courses open.
There's about 70cm of snow on the mountain at the moment and it's not going to get more by tomorrow, so that's what they'll open with.
Tomorrow will probably be more cloudy and tonight into tomorrow there is a chance of rain even along with mild conditions, so we are hoping to avoid any of that. After that, the next snowfall looks likely Tuesday into Wednesday.
From today, reports will be posted daily.
