Good morning from Madarao.
Some crazy snow scenes from north of us nearer the coastline in Joetsu the last few days. They have been on the end of a somewhat unexpected pounding of heavy snowfall.
This morning Madarao is reporting 30cm and I have measured 34cm.
This week we will probably get to see some clearer skies, particularly on Wednesday if most forecasts are correct.
:)

It seems that both Madarao and Tangram have cancelled plans for further night skiing this season due to the coronavirus related state of emergency situation in Tokyo and the surrounding prefectures.
Tangram are also going to be stopping the Number 6 lift and closing the Number 1 lift at 4:00pm (rather than 4:15pm) on weekdays.
