Now this is definitely more like it! Lots of snow to report in Hakuba and a good 30cm or so in village areas.

Hakuba Goryu this morning reporting 50cm of fluffy light snow up top since yesterday, and Hakuba 47 report 40cm. Happo-one are now reporting an impressive 180cm up at the Usagidaira area of the resort.

Hakuba Goryu have now opened up the Iimori Milky Way lift. Hakuba 47 are talking about the chance of Line C opening later on today, which would open up more of the mountain. It's all action as the snow arrives. And with the snow still falling and likely to continue through today and into at least tomorrow, I think we can expect to see more opening up very soon. I'll keep you informed.

Poor visibility out there this morning but not as windy as we were expecting, should be some very fine snow out there to play in.

Exciting!
