Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 120cm

Posted on Saturday 8th February 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

This morning Happo-one is reporting 20cm of fresh up on the Kurobishi area with 10cm on the lower Nakiyama courses; Cortina are reporting 5-10cm and 47 are reporting up to 15cm on upper slopes. So that should give you an idea of how much snow to expect on the mountain this morning and there's snow on the ground too in the village and at base areas as it continues to snow.

Not as cold this morning but still cold and hopefully we'll get more snow through into tomorrow.
