It was good to wake up to some snow on the ground this morning. Yes, we have a white covering on the ground. A few cm by the roads around the village and around 5cm in some base areas. I just measured almost 3cm. I was just over by the Happo gondola and there was very light snow falling, but at the same time there's areas of blue sky on show, so something of a mixed picture early morning.
Obviously, we need more than that for ski areas to get open, and we should be getting more before tomorrow and then a day of snow currently lined up for Sunday.
