Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 30cm
Snowfall at base this season 605cm

Posted on Thursday 6th February 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Headlines got to be...

Hakuba Happo-one reporting 80cm of snowfall on upper areas.

Hakuba Goryu is reporting 70cm of snowfall on upper areas.

There's less down at base/village, of course, but it's still another excellent result.

The official snow depth at Happo-one (Kurobishi) is now busting through the 5m mark.

And, incredibly, the snow is not going to let up any time soon. It's due to be snowing right through into next week... and often moderate-heavy snow, too.

Kowai!
