Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 132cm

It doesn't feel as cold this morning and the temperatures being reported by the ski resorts reflect that. Just -3 from Happo and milder than that being reported by 47/Goryu.
Anyway there has been a bit of snowfall this morning and some resorts are reporting some numbers - Happo-one saying there's 6cm by the top of the Riesen quad and Cortina are reporting 2cm at base and up top. Fingers crossed we get some fresh through the day tomorrow, though I wouldn't expect anything significant. I'd honestly prefect colder conditions to keep the snow we got in good condition.
After today, the next decent snowfall looks set to be with us around Tuesday/Wednesday.
Good news from Hakuba 47 - the Osaru part of their Tree Riding Zone is opening from today. Yey! (You need to register to use those areas).
