It was a mostly cloudy day yesterday with some light snow falling.
Fresh snow alert. Some ski areas this morning reporting 20-30cm of fresh snow on the mountain, with 5+cm and upwards around base areas. I have 8cm measured to report.
It's good and cold and the snow quality looks great. Light and dry. We are due lots more snow over this weekend so, yes, over here please! For the moment it's just light snow, lots of cloud and looks like of foggy on the Happo-one webcams.
All of the ski areas look like they are opening as planned, apart from a few lifts that might be delayed a bit.
