Greetings!
Ohisashiburi desu ne.
It's autumn and Hakuba is looking particularly beautiful. It looks even more beautifully beautiful in winter, of course.
Some of the ski areas around here will be (at least partially) opening up as soon as there is enough snow. The plan is for that to hopefully be the end of this month. It will all depend on the snow.
Everyone reading this will surely know this already, but the Japanese borders are not open yet to tourists. We all hope that will situation will change sooner than later, but when it will change... don't know.
The case numbers have really dropped down really low here in Japan over the last few weeks, so hopefully that will continue, everything will continue to brighten up and we might get some easing off! I will be reporting on that situation if and when, of course.
So yes, I will be with you once again for the 2021-2022 season, and daily from December. I will post from time to time before then with updates as the season approaches.
Here's to a particularly snowy winter.
