Well todays report isn't going to be too difficult!
No new snow to report. The sun is out. Blue skies all around.
It's a stunning morning in Hakuba.
A cold start to the day, it was -7 degrees when I got up and now 'warmed up' somewhat to around -5. A high of around +4 in the village is likely today.
The forecast tells us to expect simular tomorrow but perhaps even warmer, and then still rain likely on Saturday. With freezing level forecast to be above 2000m, it's going to be touch and go if it might be raining right up to the top of the ski resorts as well. We can only hope that will not happen and wait to see. It does seem we are in for a run of milder conditions through into at least early in the week.
Should be good groomers early this morning. And don't forget the camera.
