Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 0cm

Posted on Friday 30th November 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning Hakuba fans.

Slightly colder it is, though it is still rather mild and there's no new snow to report other than an ever so slight dusting at higher elevations.

Temps down here in the village will be around 8C-9C today and tomorrow.

Currently there is lots of white and grey cloud around with some blue sky in places.

Warmer conditions are expected to be back with us Monday/Tuesday and there may be some heavy rain coming too. It would be good if we could flush this last bit of autumn out of the system and get down to some proper winter after that. (Obviously!)

As the season hasn't started yet I am going to be away for the weekend and I'll get back to you in the first part of the week.

Have a good weekend wherever you are.

All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Hakuba. The 'new snowfall' number represents the amount of snow measured since the previous report. All opinions are those of the individual reporters. Information regarding ski area operations is manually checked every morning and is believed to be correct at the time of the report.
