Snowfall at base this season 402cm
Posted on Monday 29th January 2018 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.
Good morning from Hakuba.
It was good to enjoy the calm conditions and the sunshine yesterday morning.
By mid afternoon though the skies had clouded over and snow had started falling once again.
By this morning here is how much fresh snow the ski resorts are reporting:
Hakuba Goryu: 5-10cm
Hakuba 47: 5-10cm
Hakuba Cortina: 3cm
Hakuba Happo-one: 0cm
So not a huge amount of fresh, more like a thin layer. Snowfall is forecast on and off for today, perhaps easing tomorrow. Maybe even some more sun making an appearance. We shall see.
Last few days of January. Can't quite believe that come Thursday we will already be into February. Slow down please!!
