Good morning from Hakuba.

Some ski areas reporting up to 10cm of fresh on upper areas this morning, with just up to a few cm in places around base areas.

Weather this morning at the start of the ski day is mixed. There's cloud, there's some light snow in places, there's sun and a bit of blue sky.

Visibility is also varied, depending on where you find yourself.

The weekly forecast looks good for regular snow.

All good.
