Snowfall at base this season 0cm

Posted on Friday 27th November 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Morning from Hakuba where... it is snowing!

No 'cm' to log in the report yet for village level but yesterday afternoon Hakuba 47 were reporting 15cm of snowfall up by the Line C lift at 1450m elevation. Happo-one was yesterday reporting up to 20cm of snow on upper areas.

It's keeping pretty cold at the moment too and temperatures aren't likely to rise much above zero point today.

The forecast is looking pretty encouraging over the next 24 hours, so I'll leave you for now and post an update tomorrow morning - hopefully with some good snow news.
