So what do we have today. Well, early morning it was cloudy with some light snow falling in places, but as it approaches 9am there's an increasing amount of blue sky around and the sun is out. It is turning into a fine morning.
Like yesterday, it is going to be a relatively mild day with temperatures venturing into low + numbers.
The only snow being reported by ski areas is 5cm on the Usagidaira area of Happo-one and 3cm over at Hakuba Cortina. Oh hold on. 47 are reporting 5cm on their social media but not on their website. I think in some cases they can only go with 0cm or 5cm, so if it's 1cm or 2cm... that gets rounded down to become 0cm. (That is a guess based on observations checking things every day for many years. I'd love to know how it works in each case. Nerd alert).
