Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 0cm
Snowfall at base this season 779cm

Posted on Tuesday 25th March 2025 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

Light blue skies this morning and another warm day ahead of us. It warmed up to nearly 15C in the village yesterday and Hakuba 47 were reporting 8C at 1450m as of 3pm.

Lots of yellow sand coming in over the region is expected today. Hopefully we might be saved too much of that.

We are probably due more sun over the next few days but come the weekend it will be much colder. A chance of fresh snow, even!
