Posted on Saturday 23rd March 2013 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

It got very overcast by the end of the day yesterday and this morning there's a lot of cloud lingering about. We actually got a dusting of snow down to lower slopes and resorts around the valley reporting 0-5cm of snowfall this morning. The 5cm award going to Hakuba 47.

After rising to around 15 degrees yesterday, temps dipped to around +4 overnight and interestingly it is actually colder now at around 0 degrees as of 9am.

Visibility out on the resorts seems to vary greatly this morning. Some places it's thick cloud and in others it even looks like the sun is managing to break through some clouds. The forecast does actually tell us to perhaps expect conditions to clear and it feels like that may well happen.

More of a chance of sun from the get go tomorrow along with warmer temps as well.
