Independent snow and weather reporting from the Hakuba region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 550cm

Posted on Friday 22nd March 2024 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Greetings from Hakuba.

After all that fresh snow, we have some fine blue sky (and cloud) this morning.

It should be a perfect morning to be out there playing in that lovely snow. Still can hardly believe it's nearly the end of March!

Goryu is reporting up to 10cm of fresh since yesterday - that's the biggest number to report this morning.

From tomorrow some milder weather is forecast. Hopefully tomorrow can avoid some rain that is on some forecast... that would be a bit of a spoilsport.
