Not much in terms of new snow to report from Hakuba this morning. Yesterday we got to see some sunlight shine down on the village in the afternoon. Lots of clouds remained around the mountains but quite a lot of blue sky above the valley before evening arrived.

This morning there's still a lot of cloud around but sunny in the village at the moment. A bit like how the day ended yesterday really.

It is currently around -4C in Hakuba and Usagidaira at 1400m is recording a temperature of -9C, with just a slight wind - windier conditions on the mountain.

We are expecting more snow tonight and into tomorrow.
