New snowfall! Contrary to mounting evidence that it is actually 21st April today, we have fresh snow on the ground in Hakuba and as much as 15cm has fallen higher up on the mountains.

Early on when I got up this morning it was poor visibility and a coating of a few cm of snow on the ground. Visibility has improved now as of 10am and the snow has eased off. I can see the lower slopes of the mountains but most of them are still covered in cloud and it looks like visibility up there is still pretty poor (still snowing?) Being able to play in some fresh snow will I'm sure make up for that though.

It's keeping cold too. Yesterday it warmed up to around 10 degrees but today we are stuck down at around 2C. It sure doesn't feel like the second half of April today.

In the coming week I think we will see it start to warm up again. Expect sun tomorrow.
