Snowfall at base this season 339cm

Posted on Wednesday 18th March 2026 This is an archived report. The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here.

Good morning from Hakuba.

I have to be really early this morning but it's a fairly simple picture... clear blue skies again this morning with just a bit of thin cloud in places (and a bit more away from the mountains). Nice and cold early morning but will end up being a mild day.

Tonight we will probably get rain down here but there seems to be a good chance of snow in the mountains. Sounds good. I will let you know.
