I've got some news and so I'm back to let you know...


Hakuba Happo-one ski area has this morning announced that Sunday (19th April) will be the last day for skiing and snowboarding at the resort.


(It will remain open beyond Sunday for tourism/playing in snow kind of stuff, but if you want to ski or snowboard board there ----- you have just over two days left).

Good morning from Hakuba.


It's a bright morning and we have blue sky and some typical streaky kind of cloud.


No announcements to report and generally good weather is forecast over the weekend.

The base facilities of Hakuba 47, including the gondola, are closed for the season

The upper Route 8 run and Line E lift remain open, but access is only via Hakuba Goryu gondola
