Fresh snow!

Good morning from Hakuba where we are enjoying some fresh snowfall. It's probably a bit on the heavy side, but I don't care... it's fresh snow! About 4cm outside my place and resorts this morning are reporting up to around 10-15cm of fresh early morning.

It's really great to see some fresh snow on the ground in the village, and think of how much more of it up there might be on the slopes. Even better to strap on the board(s) and get out playing in it!

It's also great to see the official numbers going up at most resorts this morning. Much better than seeing them go down.

But anyway fingers crossed we might get a bit more during the day today - snow is forecast - as today we're expecting more of a chance of clearer conditions and sunshine. It has been a cold day today and tomorrow temperatures will probably be slightly higher... and beyond tomorrow through until the weekend it will probably warm up further with temps reaching double digits down here in the village around Friday.

Back to the fresh snow today and I hope you can get to enjoy it.
