Morning from Hakuba.

Fine and warm weather again this morning.

OK, so I have been keeping my special eye (the left one) on the official Goryu website every morning. Right now, 8:10am on Friday, they show the Toomi run as being available on the map on the 'current conditions' page. But on their news page, they announced that the Toomi run closed on the 8th April. I haven't been there to look myself for a few days, but it looks like what that means is the Toomi ski lift is closed (100%), but you can still ski/board back down to base via Toomi. While I feel sorry for the confusion over this particular point in recent days, there is a limit to how much I should be trying to 'interpret' what sometimes seems like conflicting information being published by official sources. (As you can tell, stuff like this really frustrates me!)

Hakuba 47 are, thankfully, clearer with their information. It's winding Route 7 down to base is now closed. That means you can still ski back down to base via Route 1, but beginners are recommended to take the gondola to base.

All runs back to base at Tsugaike are now closed so you need to get the gondola back down. (Well, according to their 'current conditions' map this morning, anyway!)

Fine, sunny and warm weather is forecast for the weekend.
