Good morning from Geto Kogen.
Now that the taps seem to have been turned on, the ski area is reporting another 40cm of snow up on the mountain.
It's still snowing, and it has to be noted that it is a rather wet variety but we will of course gladly take it.
The snowfall but might not last for much longer with some clearer skies due over the next few days. Snow should be back second half of the coming week, though.
The ski area opens from this morning, with the Number 1 gondola scheduled to operate. Only the A1 course will be available.
Lifts operating (planned):
Number 1 gondola
Runs open (planned):
A1
More runs will open when there is enough snow.
Official snow depth (reported by the ski area):
120cm (top)
