Good morning from Geto Kogen.
Much improved news this morning. We had some strong winds blowing around last night but this morning there is a layer of fresh snow across the mountain. The ski area is reporting up to 15cm of fresh.
The snow is being blown around early morning as it remains windy. I need to post my report early today but this wind might cause disruption to lift(s) so a check before heading out is highly recommended.
It's good to feel some cold again.
This storm should be over by tomorrow with clearer skies expected. (It'll be mild again, too).
Lifts operating (planned):
All scheduled lifts operating but wind might be a factor.
Runs open (planned):
Scheduled to open tree runs: Unclear early morning.
All subject to change due to conditions.
Official snow depth (reported by the ski area):
250cm (top)
190cm (base)
