Yesterday was a very cold day and today the chilly weather continues. It was -24c in Furano a short time ago and will head up to a high of around -10c by lunch time. It is a partly cloudy day. The sun has just come out and is hitting the village and warming things up a little. I am reporting 5cm of new snow, none from today, this amount fell yesterday but I wasn't able to post a report. The day ahead looks calm in terms of wind.
