Good news to report. The resort will open the Downhill Romance 2 chair this morning on the upper mountain - this gives access to courses C2 and D1. Furano Ropeway will be operating for uploading and downloading, as it is still not possible to ski back to base level. There is 4cm of new snow and snow is falling moderately. There is no wind around base, and it is another wintery start to the day at -7c. The high will go up to -2c.
