We are surrounded by sunshine and blue skies this morning but snow is expected to settle in later in the day. Yesterday's temperatures broke zero and caused a major melt in the town and then early evening the forecast rain arrived which got quite heavy during the night. All this means is that the slopes are going to be rather icy this morning so take care out there...the roads and footpaths are so slick at the moment that it is hard to stand up.
Hopefully the snow later today will make things better.
