Hello Skiers & Snowboarders,

After a lovely, snowy day yesterday, Mother Nature decided to have a little fun at our expense. I refrain from profanity in these reports, but yesterday we had r@!n in the afternoon. Hate that word in the winter. It was a light rain, and mercifully only for a few hours, but now it's there weighing everything down.

No r@!n expected today, or indeed any time within the next two weeks. Hang tight for some snow tomorrow, and then what appears to be several days of sunshine. That should be nice.

Think snow.

All lifts except for Kitanomine magic carpet.

Night skiing on both sides until 6:00 PM.

All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Furano. The 'new snowfall' number represents the amount of snow measured since the previous report. All opinions are those of the individual reporters. Information regarding ski area operations is manually checked every morning and is believed to be correct at the time of the report.

SnowJapan is an entirely independent operation. Our daily reports are not posted on behalf of ski areas or any other business or organisation.
