It has just started snowing in here in Furano and the precipitation is at a moderate rate. Looking up at the resort the cloud cover is low and visibility looks like it will be variable on the upper mountain. At -16c it is a cold start and the high of the day is predicted to be -2c in the afternoon. There is no wind around base.
