New snowfall at base 6cm
Snowfall at base this season 413cm
Posted on Monday 6th April 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
There has been an overnight dump of 6cm of spring snow in Furano town and the views are looking very picturesque.
There is early morning fog sitting right over the mountain at the moment, but off the mountain there are large areas of blue sky and sunshine. It looks like the fog will lift, but the forecast is for further snow mid morning.
Still plenty of good skiing on the Furano Zone with the mountain open from top to bottom.
