Kitanomine Gondola CLOSED

Kitanomine Snow Escalator CLOSED

It is a really nice morning with clear conditions above and the morning sun shining through. It will warm up during the day from the current -12c to around -8c. There has been 11cm of new snow since the last report and this fell mostly during the day, yesterday. Conditions are excellent all over the mountain with plenty of powder on the sides of main courses. Unfortunately the Kitanomine Gondola is out of action and at this stage it is not know how long the required maintenance will take. The front face of Kitanomine that runs where the quad chair is, is now open - this is really good news for beginners and intermediates.
