Furano Ski Area is now open!
Today is the start of the ski season in Furano. There has been 14cm of snow overnight and it is currently snowing moderately. The temperature is -4c and the high will stay just under freezing at -1c.
Lift operations are limited. The open lift is the Prince Romance lift (double chair) at the base of Shin Furano Prince Hotel. This will give access to a beginner course of approximately 700m.
