Good Morning Skiers & Boarders,
A nice 10 cm overnight, and it's the super typical, super light, super fluffy snow Furano is renowned for.
For those visiting Furano for the first time, THIS is what the snow is usually like, except usually significantly more.
So tell us, Oh Furano Ski Oracle, how light & dry is it?
--It's so light & dry that you can't make a snowball with it.
--It's so light & dry that it's tough to make a snowman.
--It's so light & dry that you can scoop it up and blow it out of your hands.
--It's so light & dry that when a car goes down the road at speed, there is a big snow dust cloud trailing behind it.
--It's so light & dry that when you're skiing deep pow, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven.
Think snow.
** Furano Zone Lift B (aka Furano Quad) is closed for the season due to mechanical failure. New braking mechanism must be fabricated.**
Furano Zone: All open except Lift B
Kitanomine: All lifts open.
Night skiing until 6:00 PM tonight on both sides.
