Posted on Thursday 2nd January 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

There has been another huge dump overnight and there is 14cm in the Kitanomine village area. The ski resort is quoting 33cm at the top of the mountain. Snow is coming down moderately and is forecast to continue for the rest of the day. There is not much in the way of wind at base. Visibility is limited a little with the precipitation. More courses in Kitanomine have been opened but it looks like the front face where the quad is may need a little more to get it open.
