There is a nice 9cm of fresh white snow blanketing the ground across Furano. A light breeze is present and there have been a couple of short moderate gusts in the last 5 minutes or so. It is mostly cloudy, the top of the ski area is in some cloud cover which looks like it may lift soon. The forecast is for the clear conditions to move to snowfall later in the morning.
