New snowfall at base 1cm
Snowfall at base this season 318cm
Posted on Saturday 28th February 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
Good base building snow yesterday with the heavy wet snow falling throughout. Temps though are still quite high and with the fact we really only had around another 1cm added overnight, a lot of the advantages of yesterdays snow may be quite reduced today. At the moment the snow is a little crusty though quite nice but as the sun beats it over the next few hours it will become a little less desirable. However up high on the mountain things are ticking along well and there is some nice fluff still building.
There are light winds at the moment which will be varied over the next few days but today it should tear after lunch.
All lifts open.
