It is snowing lightly with a light wind. The cloud is sitting low over the mountain and visibility looks to be limited at the moment. Snow conditions are excellent with plenty of new snow that fell through yesterday and another fresh layer overnight.
Good news, Kitanomine Zone is open this morning. However the Kitanomine Gondola will not be operating, meaning that the upper half of Kitanomine cannot be accessed. Looks like the Furano Zone will be the place to head for those looking for longer runs and steeper terrain.
