Independent snow and weather reporting from the Furano region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 7cm
Snowfall at base this season 276cm

Posted on Tuesday 19th December 2017 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

There is no snow falling now but there is 7cm of new snow on the ground that sneaked in there over night. It is calm in the village but probably a light breeze actually on the resort. It looks to be fully overcast and no sun is managing to break through that cloud barrier. From tomorrow the weather looks good with a cloud and sun mix through until the end of the week.

Furano Zone open.

Kitanomine Zone partially open. Kitanomine Gondola closed.
