It is a true bluebird morning with brilliantly clear sky. Clear sky like this in the morning means a cold start to the day, and it is -17c as I write this. It will warm up to around -8c by midday. The last few days have seen daytime snow flurries deposit a few centimeters at base level, but on the upper half of the resort there has been more and the trails on the upper mountain have some really good snow on them. If you haven't tried night skiing yet I highly recommend giving it a go - the Kitanomine side gets a great night view over Furano City.
