The snow storm seems to have ended in Furano but has left a massive 46cm of new snow around the ski village. It is snowing lightly still, and snow is expected through to midday and then cloudy conditions after that. There is a slight breeze at the moment. Currently -9c the high for the day will be only -7c. If driving, need to allow plenty of time to de-snow and de-ice vehicles, and best to avoid streets that have not been snow cleared yet.
