New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 217cm
Posted on Saturday 17th January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.
Peering out the window it is looking like a perfect powder day with 5cm on the ground and another 5cm expected during the day. Fully overcast and snowing moderately at the moment, the snow is expected to ease off, but continue throughout the day. There is not much breeze around right now but the wind will increase to moderate later and then reduce by tomorrow afternoon. Looks like a good day to bring out the fats and ride the pow.
