Snowfall at base this season 511cm

A whiff, and I do mean a whiff, of new snow last night which somehow the resort interpreted as 5 cm. It must be a typo. They report 5 cm on top, and I'm willing to grant that, but certainly not down here at the base. I'm not banging on them too hard, they are fairly accurate in their reporting, but they just have a different measuring location than I do.
Anyway, nice day today. Sun is out. Enjoy. Things still a bit icy from our warming event two days ago. Just need some snow to cover that up.
Big annual all-you-can-drink beer party tomorrow night downtown. Always a big hit.
Think snow.
