The snow storm of yesterday has passed and this morning is very calm with no breeze detectable around the base area. The weather is clear sky and the peak of the resort is lighting up orange in the sun. The morning is forecast to stay clear with cloud starting to come in from around noon. Clear sky usually means cold temperature in Furano, and today is no exception. -16c at base with a high of -8c. 15cm new snow delivered in yesterdays blustery weather.
