It is snowing moderately here in the village right at the moment. A quick check has revealed 5cm of nice light powder on the ground. It will snow throughout the day but should ease up to just light snowfall during the morning. There is no word from the resort on whether the Kitanomine Gondola will open or not, so we will just have to wait and see. The forecast for Sunday looks pretty much like it is now, overcast, calm and light snow.
