Snowfall at base this season 455cm

It is a wow of a morning in Furano with nice clear sky above. There has been a 3cm dusting of new snow, just enough to keep the slopes nice and fresh. It is calm at the moment with no wind around the base area. The sun is out and I think it will stay with us to afternoon when some light snow is expected. Lots of people out early in the ski village grabbing their morning coffee or heading out on a day trip to one of the other great central Hokkaido ski areas nearby.
