Yesterday afternoon forecast snow arrived which amounted to around 5cm at base level. In the pre dawn hours there was a further dusting of 2cm which could be seen sitting on top of the overnight grooming. Temperatures this morning were very cold but did warm up a little as the morning progressed. There were light winds present on the mountain which did slow down the Kitanomine Gondola at times, but caused no great drama. Many school groups arrived today and certainly made the lower slopes look fairly crowded compared to the last few days.
